Pastoral Support
Meet the Team
I have worked at All Saints Primary School since 2006 in a variety of roles. My current role is the Designated Safeguarding & Attendance Lead and I am part of the Senior Leadership Team. At All Saints, we pride ourselves on the well being and happiness of our students and our Pastoral Team work hard with the children, parents and staff to make sure children are given every opportunity to thrive and become the best version of themselves.
I am the school's Nurture Lead and work as part of the Pastoral and Safeguarding Team, delivering targeted, tiered, and coordinated interventions to pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. I also work directly with our most vulnerable children to promote a whole school approach to enhance the emotional health and well being of pupils so that all children feel safe and valued and are able to achieve a positive outcome.
I deliver interventions that involve targeted direct work and build relationships with pupils who are at risk of emotional withdrawal due to Adverse Childhood Experiences. I help ensure that there are links with professionals that are already involved with the young person or refer to the appropriate external agency as and when that support need is identified. By working closely with teachers, we explore strategies and listen to the young person's voice on how to improve their school experience and attendance. As a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, I work closely with the DSL in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of our pupils.
I have worked at All Saints Primary School as a Learning Mentor since September 2015.
The Learning Mentor Hub is a front line, drop in service that is targeted at children in immediate crisis as well as those with longer-term problems. I am equipped to deal with a vast array of issues that require a rapid response. Bullying, peer pressure, domestic violence, bereavements, mental health issues and many more. The hub is a creative space that focusses on a ‘mentee centred attitude and approach’ by using arts and crafts to initially build the trust that is needed to establish a highly effective mentee/mentor relationship. My role and practice as a Learning Mentor is to reach out to our Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils and invite them into a safe, creative and calming environment.
Hi to all our amazing parents!
My journey at All Saints CE Primary School began nearly 3 years ago and I love every minute of my work here. I previously worked in different schools across South Bradford in various roles, engaging with children, their families and the local community. You will mostly find me in the Community Room where we have many different courses, sessions and events running for parents, so please pop along to say hello. Don’t forget to keep your eyes on Dojo and text messages for notifications.
I hope your children enjoy coming to school as much as me! It is a genuine privilege to be part of this fabulous school❤️
